Halloween is right around the corner…..it's amazing the year is just passing by!

As most of us have children, safety is always a concern. Here are some tips that will make Halloween still a favorite holiday!

• Make sure your children are carrying a flashlight or a reflective device so that they can be seen. My favorite is the glow in the dark neon light necklaces that you can snap them and they light up for a long time.
• Warn your kids not to eat candy until you have examined it.
• Instruct your children never to go into strangers homes or get into their cars.
• Always make sure that your children know the difference between trick and treat and vandalism.
• And have a wonderful and safe Halloween 2008!

My husband and I take turns handing out candy. One of us always walks with the children. That is just our main rule! J
