Property Organizer Instructions

I've created some instructions on how to use the Property Organizer on our website as it can be confusing for someone that isn't familiar with searching for properties. The Property Organizer should be fairly simple to use once you've read this short tutorial, I've added pictures to make this tutorial as easy to follow as possible. By the time you are finished reading this you should be ready to start using your free Property Organizer with ease. As always, if you have any questions on how to use the Property Organizer please give me a call, or send me an email.

Before I go much further I imagine that you might be wondering why you would use the Property Organizer at all. This Organizer allows you to create searches, save searches and modify as many searches in the state of Arizona as you would like. Once you created a saved search the system will then keep track of the area for any properties in the area that you have specified and email you when a property has been added, or the price has changed. You can specify how many times per week you would like to be notified of any changes, down to which day of the week you would like the system to email you. You can add and delete searches as often as you would like and can also cancel the account any time.

Let's get started….the photo's might be a bit blurry, I really had to shrink them down in Photoshop.

The first step in creating your own Property Organizer is to go to www.letourfamilyhelpyours.com and click on the Property Organizer tab on the main page as you can see below. There are a few ways to get to the organizer, but I'll be using this route at this time.

The next screen will be where you create your free Property Organizer account on our website. To create this account all you have to do is type in your name and email address, the phone number is optional. To begin you type in your name, email address, how often you would like to be notified of changes and click on 'Click Here to Set-up!' button.

You only have to create this account one time, if you already have an account all you need to do is click on one of two links on this page as shown below.

Here you can login using your email address that you used when you created your account, no password is required.

Once signed in you will be directed to the search screen. In this case I've clicked on the advanced search to show you just how much you can search for using this organizer. I've pointed out some areas that I've found useful and wanted to bring to your attention. You can specify what property type, city, zip code, etc. Once feature that I like is that you can specify a subdivision that you want to keep an eye on, but you will need to click on 'Show advanced search criteria', which in this case I already have. One hint, click on 'narrow my search…' or you will get a ton of properties that you really didn't want; if you leave the option in its default state it will search in a much wider area than you may want. At the bottom of the page you can also search by listing number or address as well. I would recommend playing with the options on this screen, you can always delete the search if you don't want it anymore.

Once you have created a search you can then go to your main Property Organizer screen, which comes up when you login, and view the searches that you have created. On this screen you will be able to delete searches, see any properties that you have saved as favorites, create a new search, change your account information, modify your searches and show the properties available in a search. There are instructions along the way to help you just in case you've forgotten how to do something, or you can refer back to these instructions.

When you would like to see what homes match your criteria you can click on 'Show Matches' and you will see the screen below. On this screen you can click on 'Save' and it will save this property to your favorites. Click on the address of a property that you like and it will bring up pictures and features of the property.

You will also be emailed as often as you specified in the set-up screen, they will look like the picture below when you receive them. I cut it down a bit to save space, but it should give you an idea what you will receive as an email.

I hope that these instructions help, I know that it seems like a lot of work but it really only takes a few moments to be on your way. These instructions will always be readily available on our website by clicking on the 'Local Resources' or 'Website Help and Tutorials' tabs.
