I love scenery, especially when I spend so much time on my computer. Over the years I've found many beautiful backgrounds/wallpapers for my desktop. It can be difficult to find a site that offers the right size for your screen and also lets you download them for free. I found a site some time ago that I go to constantly to see pictures from photographers around the world and if I like them I save them and use them as wallpaper and screensavers. The website offers downloads for most screen sizes and all you have to do is tell it your screen size and click on download; after you click on download your browser will open a new window, just right click on the picture and click on 'Save As' to save it to a directory (you can also set it as you background).

I recently downloaded this one and have to say that the photographer captured one of the most beautiful scenes that I've seen in awhile, the colors are absolutely beautiful. I have a 24" HD monitor and the colors just jump out at you, especially when looking how the tree glows and the way the water reflects the light. This photo was taken somewhere in Northern Germany and I've had to reduce it for this blog, but it's still gorgeous.

I reduced these photo's by a lot to get them to fit, so they have lost a lot of their brilliance.  Be sure to go to the website to see these on your screen the way they were meant to be seen.

I have so many that I think are incredible, but I'm only going to show a few. This next one was taken in Seychelles and really makes me want to go there on my next vacation. Reducing this from 1920x1200 to 350x219 took a lot of the vibrancy out, in its full size those rock formations just jump out at you.

The last one was taken in Norberg and is just vibrant, he mentions that he did some editing on the photo to bring out the colors.

I thought that it would be neat to share this site with those that have never heard of it. I love browsing through the many pages of photos from people all around the world. There are many websites like this, but I have yet to find one that offers these photos to you for free and has it already reduced to so many screen sizes. Let me know if you have found one that you like.
