Tax Credits work in various ways…I will be doing mine online for the Chandler School District. By doing this, I am able to denote that I would like my tax contribution to go to Ryan Elementary. Families can donate up to $400 (married) or $200 (single) to the school of their choice. When you file your state taxes, you will receive FULL contribution back. How handy is that? The money that you contribute will enable kids to go on field trips throughout the school year. Last year, my son's first grade class was able to go on two field trips, The Heard Museum and the Arizona Desert Botanical Gardens. The tax credit donations that were made last year paid for those fun trips. J
