If you are tired of Gmail's Spartan look and would like to make it look "sexy" there is an add-on for Firefox that will do just that. I like a nice looking application and gmail is not all that nice looking, even with the new themes it still can use some work. I was reading a magazine the other day and came across a small article about a website that has a google redesign add-on for Firefox that really makes google look snazzy. This is for Firefox specifically, so if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser you're out of luck for this redesign. I prefer Firefox anyways, so this was a natural to install for me. Below is what the redesign looks like, had to shrink it down to fit.

I'm sure that some of you are saying, 'wow, this guy has way too much play time'. The answer is yes, today I am stuck at home with sick wife and kids; have to love school for all the things that get shared. Anyways, it's as simple as 1-2-3 and you will look like a nerd too.

1. If you don't have Firefox and would like to try it head over to Mozilla.com download and install. I find Firefox much better and faster than IE7.
2. Go to PCWorld download and install an add-on called, 'Stylish'.
3. Go to Globex designs download and install.

It's that easy, it even makes the calendar look great and the best part is that it's free. Firefox has a ton of other really handy add-ons as well to make life a little easier.
